GUIDELINES FOR INVITED LECTURE

1. Presentation Method


Domestic	In-Person Presentation & Real-time Q&A

Presentation File	Presentation Format	ONLY PDF or MS PowerPoint file (Use 2021 or the newest versions of PPT)
Slide Size	16:9 screen format
Font	Use a common font, such as Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana etc. (Special fonts might be changed to a default font.)
Images	Images should be in JPG, GIF or BMP format.
Disclosure of COI	To ensure full transparency, it is requested that any conflict of interest (COI) to be openly declared and identified at the beginning (or, end) of every presentation to inform the audience. You can download the template below. COI & PPT Templates Download
Please Note!	Only PC Window’s-based computers will be used during the conference, therefore if your presentation is created using a Mac it must be converted to a PC PowerPoint file before uploading/submitting.

KSMO 2024 kindly ask you to use ‘Zoom’ program for recording your presentation.

3. Recording Tips

- Before you start

Headphone or earphone with microphone

Laptop or Desktop with web camera

When recording, Please make sure to use your cursor to point the content of the slide that you want to draw attention to.

- During your presentation

Presentation	At the start of your presentation, please introduce yourself, including your name, institution, and the title of your presentation.
Finish	At the end of your presentation, please say, "I'm done with my presentation."
Disk Space	Please make sure there is enough disk space on your local drive to record and save your screen recording.

How to Submit

Please ensure you submit the final version of your presentation to the preview room at least two (2) hours prior to your scheduled presentation date.

- You can modify your files and ensure they function correctly in the given environment.
- If you have any movie clips or sound in your file, please let the staff know they are included within the folder you are submitting in advance.

Session Room

- The podium will be equipped with a monitor, microphone, mouse and smart pointer.
- We DO NOT recommend using your own laptop computer for your presentation to avoid problems with computer-projector compatibility.
* Apple Macintosh / Apple Keynote / Personal Laptop Users: Please notice the secretariat in advance. Also please visit the onsite preview room and bring your Mini Display Port-VGA Adapter.

Before your Presentation

Please be sure to keep to the allocated presentation time in consideration of the next speaker.
- Arrive at your session room at least 10 minutes before the session begins.
- You will be responsible for controlling/advancing your presentation slides

GUIDELINES FOR E-POSTER PRESENTATION

E-Poster Submission Due: August 30 (Fri), 2024

Files submitted after the deadline will not be considered for an award.

1. How to Prepare


Presentation Method	In-Person presentation not required.
Poster Display	- Your E-Poster will be available for online viewing at the virtual website. - There is no specific presentation date and time. - Participants can view posters and leave comments anytime. Please check often to respond to comments on your posters during the conference.
Review for Award	After the deadline, the Committee will review your submitted presentation file and select awardees. Files submitted after the deadline will not be considered for an award.

2. E-poster Format

Format	MS-PowerPoint (MS Office 2010, 2013, 2016) → Please convert your slide into the PDF. *When you finish your entries in PowerPoint, covert it to PDF by clicking File -> Export -> Then select PDF format and click on save

Font	Default font provided by MS Office
Remarks	* Any video and audio must not be included.
